Configuring Activity Limiter Settings

Use this procedure to configure activity limiter setting on Process Definitions records.

  1. Navigate to Rich Client > Start > Applications > Process Server Administrator > Configuration > Process Definitions.
  2. Select User, System, or Application Defined Processes.
  3. Open the desired Process.
  4. Navigate to the Activity Limiter tab.
  5. Enable or disable the activity count soft limit and specify the Activity Count Soft Limit.
  6. Enable or disable the activity count hard limit and specify the Activity Count Hard Limit.
  7. Specify the Email To and Email From email addresses.
    Note: 

    Depending on how your email server is configured, these may or may not need to be valid email addresses.

  8. Ensure that an Email Connection record exists for the system configuration, which specifies the mail server, timeouts, etc.
    Process Automation Grid nodes do not need to be restarted for this change to take effect. Only new work units will reflect the changed settings.
