Customizing the Inbasket configuration

  1. Access the Process Server Administrator and select Configuration > User Configuration > Users.

    Alternatively, you can access the Process Server and select Options.

  2. Open the record for the user for whom you want to customize the Inbasket configuration.
  3. Select the appropriate options for the user.
    Note: If you are not an Administrator, you may not have security permission to modify all fields.
    Is Filter Enabled

    Select this check box if you want to use filters for this user.

    Send Summary Email Reminder

    Select this check box if you want the user to receive an email reminder about all work items assigned to him or her. The email is sent when the Email Summary Reminder process runs.

    Notify Option

    Select Disable to prevent individual emails from being sent each time work is assigned to the user. You might do this if a user is receiving a summary email reminder.

  4. There are several Inbasket type options that can be used within . The default Inbasket link type for users is Landing page. However, other options are available. Select the appropriate Inbasket Link Type. For example, to display the "My Work" page as the first page that users see when directed to the Inbasket, select My Work Link as your Inbasket Link Type.

    Landing Page Link

    Select this option to use an HTML landing page.

    If you select this option, you can specify the particular landing page to open in Inbasket Landing Page. If no landing page is specified, the Infor Process Automation Landing Page is used. From there, a user can access My Tasks, My Work, My Requests, My Actions, My Proxies, and Options.
    My Tasks Link Presents the My Tasks view of the Inbasket. This view lists tasks for a user. You can then open a task to view the associated work items.
    My Work Link Presents the My Work view of the Inbasket. This view lists all work items for a user, regardless of task.
    Do Not Include Link Select this option if you don't want to include an Inbasket link
  5. By default, the Include Tracking Link is enabled. Clear Include Tracking Link to remove the administration bookmark from the menu in .
  6. By default, the Include Administrator Link is enabled. Clear Include Administrator Link to remove the administration bookmark from the menu in .
  7. Save your changes before exiting the page.
