Enabling the IPA checkpoint feature

IPA flows can now be created with multiple logical checkpoints, and in the event of a restart after a failure, the work units or flow would be started from the most recent checkpoint.

Note: This feature will be made available with a disabled default setting in December 2022. Users do not have the option to enable this feature for the meantime. Starting in January 2023, this functionality will be enabled by default.
You can enable or disable a checkpoint in Process Server Administrator > Process Definitions > User Defined Processes and select Enabled or Disabled in the Checkpoint drop-down menu.
Note: Enabling or disabling a checkpoint is per process definition. If the administrator needs to, checkpoints can be enabled or disabled for a single process. This is just an alternative method to enabling or disabling at each individual checkpoint within the process.

For more information on setting a node as a checkpoint or creating a checkpoint in the Assign node, see Infor Process Designer Help for details.
