Deploy the new ear file to WebSphere

  1. Log in to the WebSphere Administrative Console on the Infor Lawson server.
  2. Navigate to Applications > WebSphere enterprise applications.
  3. Select the check box for the bpm application.
  4. Click Update.
  5. Browse to GENDIR/assembly/components/ear and select the bpm.ear file.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Click Next.
  8. On the Select installation options page, click Next.
  9. On the Map modules to servers page, click Next.
  10. On the Summary page, click Finish.
  11. Save your changes.
  12. Stop the application server.
  13. Run stoplaw.
  14. Run startlaw.
  15. Start the application server.

    After completing the steps, your display exec should be added to this WebSphere directory: 

    IBM\WebSphere\AppServer\profiles\<productline>\installedApps\<CellName>\BPM-PDL.ear\
bpm.war\htmlinbasket\inbasket\execs

    You should be able to navigate directly to the display exec you loaded when you access the URL, for example, http://<lsfserver>:<lsfport>/bpm/htmlinbasket/inbasket/execs/recsum.htm
