Possible issues when sending a request
If an issue occurs when processing the request, the system sends a help email or a message about the error.
Misspelled action or invalid request on the subject line
If the user misspells the type of action request or provides an invalid request on the subject line, the system returns with a help email that shows all possible commands that can be used. To receive the help email, you must enable the Send Help Replies setting by selecting the For Invalid Commands And On Request option.
This User Channel supports the following commands:
My Requests
Sending an email with "My Requests" in the subject line will return a list of work units that you have created that have not been completed yet.
Example subject line: my requests
Service Trigger
Sending an email with "Start <service>" as the subject line will start the service and return
the work unit number of the work unit that was created. You will need to replace <service>
with the name of the service you want to start.
Example subject line: start UserSyncService
System Status
Sending an email with "System Status" as the subject line will return the current status of Infor Process Automation.
Example subject line: system status
Work Unit Status
Sending an email with "Work Unit <number>" as the subject line will return the current status
of the work unit. You will need to replace <number> with the actual work unit number for
which you want to retrieve the status.
Example subject line: work unit 100
Invalid work unit
If the user wants to get the status of a work unit that does not exist, the following message is sent to the user:
Work unit <number> was not found. Please correct the work unit number and try again.
