Creating customized security rules through the security administration interface
- Using Infor Rich Client, access System Administration for the web.
- Expand the Security Classes list in the left pane.
- Select the security class to which you want to add rules and click Configure in the right pane.
- Select the type of securable object you want to write a rule for and click the New button at the top of the left pane.

On the New Policy form, enter the following:
- New Securable Object

From the drop-down list, select the object the rule applies to.
- is accessible or is not accessible

Select whether the securable object is to be accessible or not accessible.
- For past, current, future

Optionally, select the action period for when the security rule applies.
For action period rules to be processed, you must turn on action period for the product line.
- For actions

Click the drop-down list arrow and then move the individual action types to the appropriate column.
- Excluding actions

Click the drop-down list arrow and then move the individual action types to the appropriate column.
- When

Type in a conditional clause or click the Build Condition button to open a window where you can define the condition.

Click Save.
This creates a new security policy with one security rule. You can return to the policy for the securable object and add more security rules.
