Force a user to reset their password
Use this procedure to force users to create a new password the next time they log in. If the user logs in to the lsuserapp application, they will be immediately directed to a page where they can change the password. If the user attempts to log in to the Infor Rich Client, a message appears saying the users needs to reset the password. The user will need to go to the lsuserapp application to do this.
- Log in to the Infor Rich Client as a user with the appropriate access to GEN, the security tables, and the User Management application.
- In the Infor Rich Client, access the User Management application and then Identity Management.
- Select the identity whose password you want to cause the user to reset and then select Actions > Force Password Reset.
