Configuring CAPTCHA for password reset pages

This procedure explains how to configure a password reset service to use CAPTCHA.

Before you perform these steps, a password reset policy must have been created.

IMPORTANT: This procedure requires a system restart to take effect. If you are running in the cloud, coordinate with your Infor team when you are preparing to make this change.

  1. From the Web UI, navigate to Security System Management > Service.
  2. From the list of services, perform a search or move through the list to locate the one you want to update, for example, HCM.HCMAPP-EXT.CANDIDATESELFSERVICE. When you find the service, select it and double-click.
  3. Navigate to System Properties, click the Create menu icon and click Create.
  4. In the Service Property field, specify ActionsWithCaptcha. Type it exactly as you see it here.
  5. In the Property Value field, specify PasswordReset Type it exactly as you see it here.
  6. Save and close the record.
    To complete the procedure, the Landmark environment and WebSphere application server must be restarted.
