Controlling User Access to the Security Administration utility
Use these procedures to set up user requirements and password requirements for the Security Administration utility.
If you add a password requirement for the Security Administration
utility, users of the utility must include the -p password
syntax as part of any secadm commands
(where password is the password you have specified
for the Security Administration utility. For users who use secadm
in the interactive menu mode, they will be prompted for a password
after they enter the secadm -m
command.
If you require that users belong to a specific operating system user group, users not in that group will be denied access to secadm.
