Create a user with the Create User Wizard

  1. Log in to Infor Rich Client as a user with the appropriate access to GEN, the security tables, and the User Management application.
  2. Access the User Management application and then the Create User Wizard.
    Note: 

    In some versions of Infor Rich Client, you might see an option for "MingleCreate." This option is currently available only for a limited set of Cloud-based applications. On-premises installations cannot add users this way.

  3. On the General User Information form, enter the actor and the actor's prefix, first name, and last name. Click Next.
  4. On the Actor Contact Info form, select and type address and other contact information.

    If your company has standards for the type of information to include and format, be sure to follow them.

    Note: 

    Some fields, such as Country, are required by the system. If data is not available for selection, contact your system administrator.

    Click Next.

  5. On the Create Identity for User form, select the SSO domain (generally the one for the SSOPV2 service), and enter an identity ID and password. Click Next.
  6. On the Actor Identity Assignment form, select the identity and click New. Then select the entity to link to, click Select, and then click Next.

    If you are required to be GDPR-compliant, do not use an Actor ID scheme that provides identifying information, such as First Name and Last Name. Use the privacy conventions that have been established at your site.

  7. On the Actor Role Assignment form, assign the roles for the user.
  8. Click Finish.
