adminlaw stops or starts Grid services in order to get the system to a state where only Lads and Lase are running. This is the state appropriate for running a database reorganization of the application product line or for running secadm commands. (If you need to reorganize the Gen database, you may also want to stop Lase with the managegrid utility.)
