secadm security actionperiod - Security Administration: Action Period
secadm security actionperiod productline on | off
The secadm security actionperiod
commands turns action period security off and on for a product line. When action period security is turned on, the security authorization system processes any security rules that restrict access to the past, current, or future. Although most delivered security classes do not contain any such period restrictions, some application security classes include them. You can also use the Configuration Console to create customized security classes that have security rules that set action period security. For example, it may be useful to prevent users from seeing future-dated compensation rates.
