Changing the Grid Agent Service User on Windows

In the case of the Lawson Grid with Landmark on Windows, you generally do not want to make any changes to the user running the grid agent Windows service. The grid agent service is installed with the lawson user as the user it runs as. However, you can use this procedure as a reference to help you examine any issues in case the grid agent service is not running properly. For example, if somehow the lawson user's permissions have been changed, you may need to adjust those.

• Change the user assigned to the grid agent service.

• Change security on the grid directory for the new user assigned to the grid agent service so that this user has full access.

If the grid runs on multiple hosts, you will need to repeat this procedure for each host.
