What Is the Object Persistence Framework (OPF) Connector?

Lawson's Object Persistence Framework (OPF) Connector is a resource adapter that enables Landmark applications to communicate with Lawson's Object Persistence Framework. The Object Persistence Framework in turn handles all interaction with the relational database. This architecture enables business object persistence at the database level, independent of the life of the executing program.

The OPF Connector is compliant with the J2EE Connector Architecture 1.5 specification, and enables connection and transaction management by leveraging the services of the J2EE Application Server.

You can set several parameters that configure OPF Connector operation. These settings are in the %LACFGDIR%\environment.properties. environment.properties
