Enabling single sign-on for shortcuts to Lawson applications in Landmark

This topic describes how administrators can allow users who need access to Lawson classic applications to create shortcuts to forms from Infor Rich Client without having to sign in a second time.

After you perform this procedure, end users can create links on the Infor Rich Client canvas to run Lawson application forms. Instructions for creating the links are in the Infor Rich Client User Guide.

  1. From the Data Menu in Infor Rich Client, select Gen > Security > Business Classes > ServiceUrlPattern.
  2. Click Actions > Create.
  3. On the Service Url Pattern Details dialog box, create a record with the following values:
    Service

    Type the name of the pattern you are creating.

    Be sure to use a name that reflects your Lawson system to avoid confusion with other patterns.
    Service Url Pattern Type "1" here.
    Value

    Type the server name in regular expression. This uniquely identifies the server URL. Most customers should use:

    .*YourServerName.*

    This should be the Infor Lawson Workspace host machine.
  4. Click Action > Save when you are finished.
