To change security for the grid agent service user

  1. In Windows Explorer, navigate to the directory on the host where the grid is installed.
  2. Right-click on this directory, select Properties, and click on the Security tab.
  3. Click the Advanced button to display the Advanced Security Settings for Gridname dialog box.
  4. In this dialog box, click Change Permissions... to display the Permissions dialog box.
  5. Click Add and select the same user you set earlier as the service user. Then click OK.
  6. On the Permission Entry for Gridname dialog box, do the following:
    1. Make sure that the Apply to: field has the value "This folder, subfolders and files".
    2. Select the Allow check box for Full Control.
    3. Select the check box for "Replace all child object permissions with inheritable permissions from this object".
  7. Click OK repeatedly until you have closed all dialog boxes.
