Purging Queue Content

Use this procedure to purge completed transactions from the queues so that you do not accumulate an excessive number of them. This procedure is for the EMail, Lawson Classic, and M3 queues. You may not use all of these queues. Which of these queues your system uses depends on which Landmark applications you have.

To purge content from queues

  1. Log in to a Infor Rich Client session in administration mode.
  2. In the Data Menu, navigate to productline > la > Business Classes.
  3. Double-click the business class for the queue that you want to purge content for. It will be one of the following four business classes:
    • EMailMessageQueue

    • LawsonClassicMessageGroup

    • M3MessageGroup

  4. Purge the completed queue transaction. Depending on the type of queue you are purging content for, select one of the following from the Actions menu:
    • Purge Sent E Mails

    • Purge Classic Transactions

    • Purge M3 Transactions

  5. Enter a through date or offset, and click OK.
