Starting and Stopping the System and Its Components

The following are the components that you need to start or stop when starting the Landmark system, and the order they should be started or stopped.

To start a system

1. Optional. If you use an LDAP system for storing user information, start it.

   Use the instructions provided by the LDAP vendor.

2. Start the database server.

   Use the instructions provided by the database vendor.

3. Start the Landmark system. Starting and Stopping the Lawson System

4. Start the application server.

   Use the instructions provided by the application server vendor.

To stop a system

1. Stop the application server.

   Use the instructions provided by the application server vendor.

2. Stop the Landmark system. Starting and Stopping the Lawson System

3. Stop the database server.

   Use the instructions provided by the database vendor.

4. Optional. If you use an LDAP server for storing user information, stop the server.

   Use the instructions provided by the LDAP vendor.
