Configuring the outbound connection to Infor OS Auditing and Monitoring

In order to send user-based auditing data to Infor OS Auditing and Monitoring, you must set up the following configuration parameters:

config AUDITINGMONITORINGSERVICE.WSI.ENDPOINT The endpoint for Infor OS auditing and monitoring.
auditingmonitoring oauth.<productline> The service to use to define oauth credentials.
auditingmonitoring auditingmonitoring.<productline> The oauth key and secret.
ion tenantid The tenant ID (only for single tenant or on-premises systems).
auditingmonitoring logicalid.<productline> For each product line, the logical ID.
auditingmonitoring enabled The parameter to activate the use of the connection.

To set up the configuration parameters for the outbound connection:

  1. Log in to the environment data area (gen).
  2. In your Landmark UI, navigate in the Administration Console to Other > System Configuration Parameters > By Residence Category.
  3. Set up the AUDITINGMONITORINGSERVICE.WSI.ENDPOINT configuration parameter.
    1. On the Configuration Parameter Categories form, in the top list section, filter on and select “config”.
    2. On the Available Keys By Runtime Component tab, select the entry with the key of "AUDITINGMONITORINGSERVICE.WSI.ENDPOINT".
    3. Click Create Parameter, specify the endpoint in the Value field, and click OK.
  4. For single tenant or on-premises systems only, set up the tenantid configuration parameter.
    1. On the Configuration Parameter Categories form, in the top list section, filter on and select “ion”.
    2. On the Available Keys By Runtime Component tab, select the entry with the key of "tenantid".
    3. Click Create Parameter, specify the tenant ID in the Value field, and click OK.
  5. Set up the configuration parameters in the auditingmonitoring category.
    1. On the Configuration Parameter Categories form, in the top list section, filter on and select “auditingmonitoring”.
    2. On the Available Keys By Runtime Component tab, select the entry with the key of "oauth.<productline>", "auditingmonitoring.<productline>", "logicalid.<productline>", and "enabled", depending on which parameter you are setting up. See above for a description of the appropriate value for each parameter.
    3. Click Create Parameter, specify the appropriate value in the Value field, and click OK.
  6. To change the value later of any of these parameters, filter on the appropriate category and then open the configuration parameter on the Defined Parameters By Runtime Component tab.
