About shortcut and shortcut organizer widgets

Shortcuts and shortcut organizers are the most versatile tools in the widget library. You can create short cuts to connect your Infor Rich Client canvas to documents on your machine, to external applications, or to internal and external web sites.

In addition you can create a shortcut to any form in your Landmark application, which lets you access frequently used forms directly without having to navigate to them or search for them.

You can also detach any graph to your canvas. Unlike an application shortcut, which is a link to the application form, a detached graph is a copy of the graph that retains the exact same properties and attributes as the source graph. It gets updated in real time, is retained on the canvas until you close it, and gets automatically reloaded when you log back in.

You can organize your shortcuts in meaningful groups to save space on your Infor Rich Client canvas and to locate your shortcuts more easily. One shortcut group can be a startup group, meaning that all the external application and application form links included in that shortcut group will automatically load when you log in.
