Adding and configuring a News Feed widget

You can add a widget that lets you monitor RSS feeds from an Internet or intranet resource.

  1. Select Start > Library and click the Widgets tab.
  2. Drag and drop the News Feed widget onto the canvas or select the News feed widget and click the Add To Canvas button.
  3. To configure the URL for the news feed, click the gear icon on the widget toolbar.
  4. On the Settings for News Reader window, type the URL.
  5. Click Save when you are finished configuring the URL.
