Creating shortcut groups

Shortcuts cannot be minimized. However, you can organize them into shortcut groups.

One shortcut group can be a startup group. All external applications and application forms included in the startup group will automatically open when you log in to Infor Rich Client.

For example, you could have a shortcut group for your personal shortcuts, another shortcut group for external applications that you frequently use in conjunction with your Landmark applications, and a startup group that contains the application shortcut forms that you want opened as soon as you log in.

  1. Select Start > Create > Shortcut Group or

    select Start > Library drag the Shortcut Organizer widget to your Infor Rich Client canvas or select the Shortcut Organizer widget and click the Add To Canvas button. By default the shortcut group is named Shortcuts.

  2. Click the Settings (gear) icon on the shortcut group's toolbar.

    Place your cursor on the shortcut group to display the toolbar.

  3. On the Shortcut group settings form, enter the following settings.
    Name

    Enter the name of the shortcut group. For example, if this is your startup group, you could call it Startup.

    Load this group's shortcuts on startup

    If this is your startup group, select this check box. Only one group can have this check box selected.

  4. Click Save.
  5. Click the shortcut group.

    A box appears above the shortcut group.

  6. Drag the shortcuts that you want to add to the group to the box.
