The Infor Rich Client layout

When you log in to Infor Rich Client, the application navigation menu usually loads as well. If it does not, you can add it under Start > Library.

• The Infor Rich Client toolbar displays:

  • The current space.

    Infor Rich Client lets you create up to four spaces. The first space is always the default and cannot be removed.

  • The As Of date.

    You will see this only if your setting is to display As Of Date and if you are authorized to change the As Of Date. This feature lets authorized users view the state of application data at the time specified in the As Of Date field.

  • The Start menu provides access to the Infor Rich Client functionality and the navigation menu of the application.

  • The Windows icon lets you tile the open application forms so they cover the entire canvas or so they remain to the right of the application menu.

• Below the toolbar is a magnetic stripe where all open applications forms display in thumbnail format.

  If you minimize a form, it appears only in thumbnail form. You can hover over the thumbnail to view a slightly enlarged picture.

  This makes it easy for you to switch from form to form without cluttering your work space.

• The area below the thumbnail area is your work area, which includes your application menu, and any of the widgets that you have created.

  Note: 

  When you exit Infor Rich Client, open application forms are closed. However, all your widgets and settings are retained and available to you when you log back in.
