Utility Documentation Conventions

This manual references certain Infor Landmark Technology programs and utilities. Often you can access these programs and utilities in more than one way. However, this manual will not describe all ways that you can access each program or utility.

Landmark Command Line

A Landmark command line refers to a prompt within an environment correctly configured for the system. When Landmark is installed, a script is created that sets important Environment variables. Use operating system commands to view the Environment variables or to set them as needed.

Web User Interface

Several Landmark administrative utilities may be made available through an application product's web user interface. Online help will be available for these utilities.

Infor Rich Client

The Infor Rich Client is a graphical user interface designed for users and administrators who work with the system.

Utilities or Programs for Editing Text Files

When this manual refers to editing or viewing a text file, such as a configuration file, it will generally say to open the file in a Landmark directory.
