Deleting a Data Area

delda deletes a data area, or all data areas in a product line.

At a Landmark command prompt, type

delda [-D] [-v displayoptions] dataarea

– or –

delda -a [-D] [-v displayoptions] productline

Consider the following:

Program Option Description
-a Delete all data areas in a product line.
-D Delete the data from the database.
productline The product line, when all data areas in a product line are to be deleted.
-d dataarea The data area to be deleted.
-v

errorlevel, tracelevel, and verbose specified in any order, where:

  • errorlevel = {n}none | {f}atal | {e}rror | {w}arning (warning is the default)

  • tracelevel = 0:6 where 0 is no message and 6 is everything

  • verbose = whether to display exception stacktrace
