Editing spelling dictionaries

Use this procedure to edit a spelling dictionary from within the Landmark Administration Console. If you have access to the text file for the spelling dictionary, you can also edit that text file and then upload it. This is the necessary approach for Alternate and Locale type dictionaries.

  1. Navigate to the Spelling Dictionary tab of the Administration Console form.
  2. Select Update from the Actions menu.
  3. Specify this information:
    Description
    Specify the description for the dictionary.
    Type
    Specify the type of spelling dictionary: Locale, User, or Alternate.
    Locale
    For Locale type and Alternate type dictionaries, specify the locale of the dictionary.
  4. If the dictionary is a User type dictionary and you want to modify the contents of the dictionary, click Edit.
  5. Add or delete words in the dictionary.
  6. Press Return after each added word.
  7. When finished, click Save.
