Create the AD FS service using Infor Rich Client

As part of this procedure, you will select an existing claims-based login scheme for use with the AD FS service. If you need to create one, do so following procedures in another section. Creating a Claims-Based Login Scheme

  1. Launch Infor Rich Client as a security administrator.
  2. Open the Security System Management Application and then select Service->Create.

    You will be on the Service form.

  3. Populate the fields on the Service form as shown in the table below.

    For fields that are not called out in the table, accept all defaults.

    Field Value
    Service This is the name of the service for AD FS. It must be unique from all other services. It is a good idea to use a name that helps you and other administrators know the purpose of the service. For example, in this case, "ADFS" would be a good name for the service
    Description Optional. Type a text description of the service.
    Service Type Select "Form Based"
    Service Protocol Select "HTTPS only."
    Login Scheme Select an existing claim based login scheme from the dropdown.

  4. Click Save when you are finished configuring the new service.
