Configuring the Infor M3 Transaction node

  1. Select the Infor M3 Transaction "start" node. On the General tab, specify this information:
    Connection information
    • Select Configuration name to use an existing configuration. If you do not select a name from the list, the default configuration will be used.

    • Select Override connection to specify parameters specific to the node. The system remembers the information you include here. You would only need to provide information (other than password) at login if you make changes.

      Property Description
      Host Host name/IP address of the Infor M3 server
      Port Infor M3 server port
      User Infor M3 user ID, 16 characters maximum
      Password Infor M3 user's password, 16 characters maximum
      Encryption Key Optional. Key used for encryption and decryption
  2. In the Activity information section, click Build. When you click Build, you make a connection to the M3 Business Engine and activate the Infor M3 Program Query Wizard. The wizard lets you select the Infor M3 programs, transactions, fields, and other items that you want to include in your query. Creating a query using the Infor M3 Program Query Wizard
  3. On the On Error tab, specify this information:
    What should happen on an error?

    Select from the available options.

    Notify

    Select the check box if you want to send a notification when an error occurs. If this option is selected, you must fill out the notification details.

    Custom log entry

    Select the check box if you want a custom log entry in addition to the system-generated log entry.

  4. Select the Infor M3 Transaction "end" node. On the Break Condition tab, specify any valid true/false conditions that must be satisfied if you want to end the iteration.
    Note: 

    If a variable is used as part of the condition, you must remove the surrounding brackets ("<!" and ">").
