General tab

Use the options in the General tab to determine what actions need to be taken and who needs to take them.

The General tab has these sections:

  • Connection Information

You can select the connection parameters for the Landmark server in the Connection Information section. If you have created custom configuration sets, you can specify the configuration name or use the default configuration.

  • Work Assignment

Use the options in the Work Assignment section to route actions based on the TM or Classic HR Supervisor structure.

  • Actions

The Actions section is pre-configured with delivered actions. You do not need to make any changes here.

Routing actions for work assignment

You can route actions based on the TM or Classic HR Supervisor structure in the Work Assignment section.

  1. On the HRTM User Action node, go to the Properties > General.

  2. Select an Application type from these options:

    • The Infor Lawson HR + TM: Use data from the Landmark LTM product.

    • The Classic HR: Use the Infor Lawson HR product.

  3. If the selected application type is The Infor Lawson HR + TM, specify this information:

    Organization

Select an organization from the drop-down list.

    Supervisor Code

Select a code from the drop-down list.

    Data Area

    Specify the data area.

  4. If the selected application type is The Classic HR, specify this information:

    Company

Select a company from the drop-down list.

    Employee

Select an employee from the drop-down list.

The list of variables have variables from the HR or the TM service. Services are specified for a flow on the Properties tab. Together with the HR or TM reporting structure, these variables give the system enough information to calculate who should receive the work for this activity.

For example, in the Classic HR application the system uses the variable values of Company and Employee that are passed from the trigger to the work unit when the work unit is created. The system begins its search for the person who should receive the work for this activity by looking at the employee identifier that is passed as the value for the Employee variable. By using the HR reporting structure, the system is able to send the work to that person's supervisor.
