Specifying connection information

You must specify connection parameters for a SQL Query node.

Verifying external .jar files

Before you begin working with the SQL Query activity node for the first time, make sure the appropriate .jar files from your JDBC vendor are on your classpath.

Specifying the configuration to connect to JDBC

  1. Place the SQL Query node on the designer window and select to show the General tab.

  2. Select the Configuration name from the dropdown list.

    When you select this option, you are using a pre-specified configuration, either a custom connection that was specified at your site, or a configuration that was delivered by Lawson. If you need more information about configuration sets, contact your system administrator.

    Or, select Override connection and make selections for the JDBC connection.
