Configuring the SMS node

Use this procedure to define the general properties of the SMS node.

  1. On the General tab, specify this information:
    Configuration name

    Select the configuration set where your Twilio account is added. To use an existing configuration, select a name from the list. If you leave the field blank, the default configuration is used.

    To

    Specify the phone numbers to send the SMS to. When adding several phone numbers, the numbers have to be comma separated.

    You can click the To button to launch the dialog box where you can select tasks and users.

    • Click the Tasks tab to select task or variable-holding tasks. SMS is sent to users in the task, and category filtering is applied.

    • Click the Phone numbers tab to select users or variable-holding users. SMS is sent to the users. The phone number is the corresponding mobile number set up for the actor.

    Message

    Specify the SMS message that are sent out. The message can contain either text or variable.

  2. On the On Error tab, specify this information:
    What should happen on an error?

    Select from the available options.

    Notify

    Select the check box to send a notification when an error occurs. If this option is selected, you must fill out the notification details.

    Custom log entry

    Select the check box to have a custom log entry in addition to the system-generated log entry.
