Purging ION inbox records

  1. To delete messages in an ION inbox through the paadm tool, run this command on the command line: 
    paadm iobox purge
  2. When prompted, specify this information:
    Data Area
    Specify a data area.
    Thru Date GMT [yyyyMMdd]
    Specify a date in this format: yyyymmdd. For example, 20190815.
    Include Error [Y/N]
    Specify Y to include records that have encountered errors. Specify N to only include only records that have been processed successfully.
    Note: You can run the paadm iobox count command first to check the number of records to be deleted by the paadm iobox purge command based on the specified Thru Date.
