Preparing processes to launch from Infor M3 Forms

You can set up Infor M3 to launch Infor Process Automation processes.

M3 Business Engine always triggers a service. The service can, in turn, launch one or more processes. Criteria, configured in Infor Process Automation, specify the conditions when a service should activate a process. (How to configure criteria for Infor Process Automation is described in another section of this document.

These are your options to trigger processes within an M3 form:

• If you are running Infor Process Automation through the Grid, use the Event Hub activity to do this. This is the preferred method for triggering if you use the Grid but is available only with the Grid.

• Set up an application message, that is, a message that comes from a particular application, to trigger a process.

  You do this through Application messages (CRS424).

• Create Java calls.

You must configure movex.properties in all cases.
