Workunit statuses
Each workunit in IPA has a parameter, Status, to indicate the state or condition of the workunit while it is running. This table shows the 11 statuses that are currently displayed on the Health Status page:

| Action Pending In Server |
When the action is taken on a User Action activity node and if the workunit is waiting for an available thread to proceed, then the display status of User Action activity node will be changed to Action Taken Pending In Server. For all workunits under this case, their status is Action Pending In Server. |
| Activity Running Long |
If an activity node is running longer than the time specified on the Notification tab (the default value is 60 minutes), then the status of that activity will be Activity Running Long. This is not applicable to the User Action activity node and the Wait activity node because these nodes do not hold any threads. |
| Canceled | The workunit is canceled. Note: Optionally, you can view the audit information when a workunit
is canceled in the Information tab of .

| Canceling | The workunit is pending cancellation. |
| Completed | The workunit is completed. |
| Failed | The workunit has failed to run. This status signals an error in the workunit. |
| Not Ready | The workunt is not ready to run. |
| Processing | The workunit is currently processing. |
| Ready | The workunit is ready. |
| Waiting | The workunit is waiting.. |
| Waiting On User Action | The workunit is waiting for a user action to be taken before it proceeds. |
