If you are running in the Cloud and depending on your setup, it is possible that your CloudOps or ICS team has performed this step or parts of it for you.
- Download the rule file that contains rules that was delivered by your application (for example, HCM) to a location on your local system.
Files for the Employee and Manager application are delivered to:
wfdata/EmployeeInternetFacing.xml
wfdata/ManagerInternetFacing.xml
- If you need to make changes to the delivered file/s, make backups before proceeding.
- Using the method of your choice, for example, a command window your server, navigate to the LASRCDIR location and create the following folder structure:
LASRCDIR/security/domainauth/YourDomainName
where YourDomainName is the name of the domain you created for external users
- When you are ready to activate the rule file/s, copy them to the location you created in the previous step. For example:
LASRCDIR/security/domainauth/YourDomainName/YourRuleFile.xml
where YourRuleFile. xml is the name of a rule to be used at your site
