Configuring auto-logout using security administration menus

This section describes how to configure auto-logout using the security administration men system. Specify property names exactly as they are listed here. They are case-sensitive.
  1. Navigate to security administration menu and select Service.
  2. Click Search and, in the service filter, enter the name of the service for which you want to program auto-logout, for example, HCM.HCMAPPS.CANDIDATESELFSERVICE
  3. When the name of the service appears in the search results, double-click it.
  4. Click the Service Properties tab.
  5. Click the New icon.
  6. On the Service Property Details form, add the following to enable the auto-logout property:

    Enter: SessionAutoLogout

    Value field

    Enter: true

  7. On the Service Property Details form, add the following to configure the number of minutes of inactivity after which users will be automatially logged out.

    Enter: MaxInactivityTime

    Value field

    Enter: the number of minutes after which auto-logout should occur, for example, "30."

  8. Save and close the record.
  9. In order for the changes made in this section to take effect, you must restart the browser.
