Decrypting files in the PGP protocol using secadm

This topic describes the command for decrypting using the PGP protocol.

This procedure must be performed by an Infor Security administrator or a user who has been given access to a role containing the "CryptoActions" security class.

From a command window in the Infor Landmark environment, type

decrypt <encryption_type> <service_name> <path\filename>

where

<decryption_type> = pgp in this case

<service_name> = the name of the service the decrypted file(s) are for

Note:

If you are sending files from Infor HR Talent to HRSD, the name of the service is "SSOPV2".

<path\filename> = the absolute path and name for file that you want to decrypt

Example:

decrypt pgp ssopv2 E:\SensitiveDatalFolder\SensitiveDataFile.txt

When the decryption is complete, the screen displays DONE.
