Changing user context

Most users work with only one organization. However, some administrators can be assigned to multiple organizations. Your security settings determine what organization(s) you have access to.

If you are assigned to multiple organizations, you can work with only one organization at a time. You are "in context" with only one organization at a time. To work with another organization, you must change your user context.

  1. Select Start > User Context.

The User Context Editor window is displayed.

  2. Select the organization you want to be in context with. The fields available will vary depending on which organizations(s) you have access to.
  3. Click OK.

Other considerations

  • You can change your user context as frequently as you need to.

  • When you exit Infor Rich Client, the user context that you last used will be retained.

  • The user context is global to all your Infor Rich Client spaces. If you change your user context in one space, it is changed in all spaces.
