LASRCDIR

Default location: $LADIR/src

The following table describes the contents of $LASRCDIR, which contains the business applications running under control of Landmark.

Subdirectory Description
/dict

This is the former default directory for the data area database deployment descriptor files. As of the April 2021 Landmark update, the default directory is $LACFGDIR/dict. Any new installation will place the database deployment descriptor files in $LACFGDIR/dict and any new update will attempt to move the files to $LACFGDIR/dict. If the database deployment descriptor files are still located in $LASRCDIR/dict (such as if an update could not move them), the files in $LASRCDIR/dict will be used.

The database deployment descriptor files are named dataarea.xml and supply the database space and record count information used during construction of the data area dictionary file.
