To drop and disable supplemental indexes

  1. Change the database space configuration. At the Landmark command line, type

    changeda -s supplementalindexes=no dataarea classicSpace

  2. Rebuild the product line to capture the configuration change. At the Landmark command line, type

    stagelandmark dataarea

  3. Reorganize the database to drop the supplemental indexes. At the Landmark command line, type

    activatelandmark dataarea
