Overview of the Landmark Administration Console

The Landmark Administration Console is a set of forms in the user interface that allows an administrator to perform various tasks without having access to the file system or command line on the server. The tasks available include:

  • FTP setup for the Landmark Administration Console
  • Analytic Cube management
  • Security configuration, including editing and copying security classes
  • Async queue suspending and resuming
  • Database import and export, and database monitoring
  • Data replication setup
  • Database translation and spelling dictionary management
  • Report distribution configuration and embedded reports management
  • Audit entry setup and analysis
  • Configuration parameter management for each data area
  • Infor Rich Client installation configuration and trusted certificate management
  • Infor Rich Client personalization and configuration management

Access to the Landmark Administration Console is controlled through security classes, so only those users with the appropriate role and security classes can have access to this tool. The Landmark Administration Console is delivered as part of Infor Landmark Technology. However, to use it, you must install an FTP server.
