About diversity codes
Diversity codes are often used to help public sector procurement and sourcing organizations conform to equal opportunity regulations. In Strategic Sourcing, diversity codes are assigned to a supplier and are used to define their characteristics. These characteristics help determine if a supplier is eligible for an award and can also be used as parameters for reporting and analysis.
Suppliers must be certified for the diversity codes that they indicate. The diversity codes available to a supplier are unique to your organization and are set up in Accounts Payable (AP13.2). Buyers can supplement or review this information from the Supplier Setup menu.
