Creating an event on the Quick Entry form

Use the Quick Entry form method to quickly add an event.

To create an event using the Quick Entry form

  1. Access Sourcing Buyer > Event Creation.
  2. From the Actions menu, select Quick Entry.
  3. Use the following guidelines to enter field values:
    Company

    Required. Select a company to assign the event to.

    Name

    Required. Type a name for the event that you are creating.

  4. Click Save.
  5. Define event information. Updating event information
    Note: 

    The Quick Entry option limits the amount of information available to enter on the event. It only displays the main event information, lines, terms, and notifications. It does not include questions, contact information, meetings, and so on.
