Creating an event from standard entry

Creating a sourcing event can be performed through the standard entry or Quick Entry methods.

To create an event from standard entry

  1. Access Sourcing Buyer > Event Creation.
  2. From the Actions menu, select Create.
  3. Use the following guidelines to enter field values:
    Company

    Required. Select a company that you want to assign to the event.

    Name

    Required. Type a name for the event that you are creating.

  4. On the Event tab, define additional event information.
    Note: 

    Before you can release an event, you must have values in the Description, Type, Buyer, and either dates or the Dates Not Required On Event field selected.

  5. Click Save.
  6. Select the event and define event information. Updating event information
