Creating articles

Follow these steps to create an article for an event.

Before you can create an article, a procurement group must already exist in the Purchase Order application. For information on creating a procurement group, see the Purchase Order User Guide.

To create an article

  1. Search for "Articles and Terms".
  2. From the Actions menu, select Create.
  3. Use the following guidelines to enter field values:
    Procurement Group

    Required. Select a procurement group to which you want to assign the article.

    Title

    Required. Type a title for the article that you are creating.

    Header Text

    Type the header text that represents the article label.

    If you do not type header text, no header text is associated with an article on an event.

    Allow Modification When Attached to Contracts or Events

    Select this checkbox to allow changes to header text after the article is attached to an event.

    Active

    Select this checkbox to make the article active.

  4. Click Save.
