Submitting Monitor Tasks

Use this procedure to configure email reminders and escalations for Task Owners and Coordinators.

To submit monitoring tasks

  1. Access Recall Administrator > Utilities > Monitor Tasks.
  2. Select a Recall Group.
  3. Select a Recall type. This is optional. If not entered it will send out for all types. The user can set up multiple jobs for different types if the notification needs are different. Also, the user can send out reminders AND/OR escalations.
  4. Select the Send Reminders To Task Owners field and Send Escalations to Coordinators and Supervisors field as needed. This enables reminder emails to be sent.
  5. You may enter a number in the Number Of Hours Prior To Due Date And Time fields. These fields are not required.
  6. Click Schedule. This opens the Schedule window.
  7. Enter a name for the action in the Scheduled Action name field.
  8. Enter the email address where the notice is sent if the job fails in the Email Address field.
  9. Make selections for the following options as needed:
    • Notification Type

    • Schedule Type

    • First Time To Run

    • Run Action Concurrently

    • Override Action Failure Configuration

  10. Click Next.
  11. Click Finish. This closes the Schedule window.
  12. Click OK in the Monitor New And Accepted tasks... window. This creates a request under Procurement.
  13. One email will be sent to each Recall User with a list of any overdue tasks.
