To create a task
- Access the Landmark application. On the Utilities menu, click System Queue > Tasks.
- On the Batch Task List, click Add.

On the upper portion of the Batch Task List, use the
following guidelines to enter field values:
- Task

This is a system-assigned ID.
- Name
-
Assign a name to the task.
- Description

Provide a description of the task.
- Type
-
Select the Task Action option.
- Business Class

Click the icon to select the business class on which you want to act. Click Next Page to view available business classes. Click a business class to place it in the field.
The business classes listed are those in the current data area to which this installation of the product line is pointing.
- Task Action

Click the icon to view the business actions available to take upon the business class you selected. Click an action to place it in the field.
- Java Class
-
If the type is Java Class, then you can type a value here. This value must be a full package and class name of a Java Class that implements the com.lawson.rdtech.framework.Scheduleable interface.
- Data
-
Use only for tasks (not for task streams; is user-defined for JavaClass). Click Browse to find the task data information file to execute.
Use this field for action types.

Use this field for Java types.
- Is Volatile

Reserved for future use.
- Click Save. The task is listed on the Batch Task List.
