Understanding the ProcessFlow queue

In order to activate the ProcessFlow queue, you must first configure the Failure notification e-mail address in the ConfigurationParameters in the Landmark application. In addition, you need to set up the host port in the configuration parameter.

There are three types of ProcessFlow queue records: Trigger (to create a work unit), Cancel (to cancel a work unit), or Execute (to submit an action to be executed). Specifically, you can use the ProcessFlow queue to view a log of triggers that initiated a ProcessFlow process. You select a trigger and click Open to view details, including:

  • Date - date and time of the submission

  • Execute time - date and time the action was sent or the last time an attempt was made for a failure

  • Type - trigger, cancel, or execute

  • Status - New, Pending, Reset, Complete, or Failed (the default for failed attempts is to automatically reset every 1 hour; reset jobs return to the queue for execution

    Note:

Administrators can change the reset option for failed attempts.

  • Name - ProcessFlow service name
