To create keyfield context property records

Note:

This procedure describes how to use the Lawson Rich Client to create context property (keyfield) records. If you have access to the command line, you may want to use the secadm command. For example: secadm actor ctxproperty add dataarea keyfield isPervasive false userModifiable false

  1. Access the Data Menu widget and navigate to dataarea > person > Business Classes > ContextProperty.
  2. On the Context Property List, select Actions > Create.
  3. On the Context Property form, use the following guidelines to enter field values
    Unique ID

Leave this value blank. The application will assign a unique ID to the record when you save it. This ID is what you use to identify the keyfield when you create the actor context record.

    Key Field

Type or select the keyfield you want to define:

    • ProcurementGroup

    • ContractClassification

    Data Area

Type or select your data area (productline).

    User Modifiable

    Leave this field blank.

    Service Name

    Leave this field blank.

The name of the service that the context property applies to.

  4. Select Actions > Save.
