Updating supplier e-mail content

Use this procedure to update the e-mail content that is sent to a supplier.

To update supplier e-mail content

  1. Access Buyer > Administration > Sourcing Groups.
  2. Select the sourcing group that you want to update e-mail content for.
  3. Click the Event E-mail tab.
  4. Type e-mail content for the supplier-related events:
    • Event e-mail content - notification of new event

    • Amendment e-mail content - notification of event change

    • Cancel e-mail content - notification of event cancellation

    • Q and A e-mail content - sent to suppliers who provide questions

    • Award e-mail content - notification of event award

    • Output e-mail content - notification to event winner

  5. Use the following guidelines to enter field values.
    Send Award Email to Awarded Suppliers Only

    Select this checkbox to prevent non-award suppliers from receiving event award e-mails.

    Note: 

    Ensure that your organization's policy allows this action.

    Send Output Creation Email

    Select this checkbox to send suppliers an e-mail that informs them to expect event-related documents.

    Consolidate Award and Output Emails

    Select this checkbox to consolidate awards and outputs into one e-mail for each event.

    If you clear this checkbox, an e-mail is created for each awarded line (and not at the event level).

  6. Click Save.
